What happens after I book? A timeline of what to expect

Once you’ve booked your Getaway, here’s what to expect between now and your trip. This timeline applies to both Cabo and Portugal.

Right After Booking

You’ll get a confirmation email with your booking details and a link to the Payment Portal. If you chose an installment plan, your next installment date is confirmed here.

Within a Few Days

You’ll receive a welcome email inviting you to log into your Guest Dashboard to begin filling out your guest information: personal info, passport, flights, and transfer details.

Anytime Between Now and Your Trip

Log into the Guest Dashboard at your own pace to complete your guest info. You can save your progress and return later — no need to do it all at once.

As Installments Process

If you’re on an installment plan, payments run automatically on their scheduled dates. You can view every payment, update your card, or retry a failed payment in the Payment Portal.

30 Days Before Your Trip

Your reservation locks. After this point, guest info, flight details, and transfer arrangements cannot be changed in the Guest Dashboard. Make sure everything is finalized before the lock.

About 2 Weeks Before Your Trip

You’ll receive a pre-arrival email with final itinerary, packing reminders, and any last-minute updates from the Getaways team.

Day of Arrival

Head to the resort — check-in details will be in your pre-arrival email.

During the Trip

Enjoy the Getaway. If you need help while you’re on-site, the Getaways team will have support available throughout the event.
