Can't log in? Troubleshooting the Guest Dashboard magic link

If you can't log in to the Guest Dashboard, the problem is almost always one of three things: the magic-link email landed in spam, you're using a different email than the one on your booking, or the link expired. Here's how to work through each one.

I didn't get the magic-link email — what should I do?

A few things to check:

  • Spam / promotions folder — magic-link emails sometimes get filtered there.
  • Did you use the email on your booking? It has to be the exact email address you used when you originally paid.
  • Wait a minute, then request another. If two attempts in a row don't arrive, open a support ticket via the Need Help? button and we'll help.

I entered my email and got "We could not find a booking associated with this email address" — what does that mean?

That message means the email you typed doesn't match any booking on file. Try the exact email you used when booking. If you've changed your email since then, see below.

My email address has changed since I booked — how do I update it?

You'll need to contact support so we can update it on our end. Email-on-file isn't something you can change yourself in the dashboard. Open a ticket via the Need Help? button (or the link at the bottom of the login screen) and let us know your old and new emails.

I used a different email when I booked — what do I do?

Use that original email to log in. Whatever email is on the booking is the one that works for the dashboard.

Can my spouse / travel partner / roommate log in instead?

No. Only the Buyer (the person who paid for the reservation) can log in to the dashboard. This is intentional — one person is "in charge" of each reservation.

If you're not the buyer but need access, the buyer can share details with you directly, but they're the only one who can log in and enter info.

As the Buyer, can I let my guests enter their own info?

Officially, no — only the Buyer can request and receive a magic link. That said, you could forward the magic link email to a travel companion so they can log in and enter their own details. You'd be doing this at your own risk:

  • Whoever has the link has full access to the entire reservation, including every guest's info and the Payment Portal.
  • The link expires in 15 minutes, so timing matters.
  • If they finish their session and you need back in, you can request a fresh magic link anytime.

For most groups, the simplest and safest path is for the Buyer to collect passport/flight info from each guest and enter it themselves.

Still stuck?

Click Need Help? on the login page to open a support ticket. Include the email you're trying to use and someone from the Getaways team will get you sorted.

Once you're logged in, the next article covers the Your Reservations page — your home base in the dashboard.
