Passport details — the most important step

The Passport step is the single most important section to complete on time. The resort is legally required to collect passport details for international guests, and if we don't have it before your arrival day, you literally won't be able to check in. Don't leave this one for the last minute.

Passport step

Why do you need passport information?

The resort is legally required to collect passport details for international guests. We pass this info along on your behalf so check-in moves quickly when you arrive.

What happens if I don't provide passport info before the trip?

You won't be able to check in at the resort until they have it. Providing it at the front desk on arrival day is technically possible but can severely delay check-in for you and everyone behind you. It's the most important step — don't leave it for the last minute.

Please be proactive. Don't be that person.

A guest's passport hasn't arrived yet — what should I do?

Complete the other sections now and come back to the Passport step once you have it. Use Skip Step so the dialogue doesn't try to save partial passport data, then return to that pill on the guest card later.

Every traveler must have a passport. Your departing airline will not allow you to board an international flight without one — and no country, including the USA, will let you in without one.

The guest's nationality and the country that issued their passport are different — is that OK?

Yes. Those are two separate fields specifically because they can differ (e.g., a dual citizen, or a long-term resident of one country who holds a passport from another). Enter each one accurately.

Does my passport need to be valid for any specific length of time?

Yes — your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your trip's departure date. Many international destinations require that buffer, and we enforce the same rule so your trip isn't disrupted at the border.

With passports handled, the next two articles cover travel itself: flights into the destination and back home.
