The Transfer steps tell us how each guest is getting between the airport and the resort. Two separate steps — Transfer In for the trip into the resort, Transfer Out for the trip back to the airport. You'll pick a transport type and enter your expected arrival time.
What's the Transfer In step for?
For telling us how the guest is getting from the airport (or their starting point) to the resort — the last-mile ground transfer.
You'll pick a transport type:
- Travel Abundance — our travel partner's airport ground transport service.
- Taxi / Ride Share — Uber, Lyft, local taxi, etc.
- Other Service — a private driver, shuttle, or any service not listed.
- Personal Vehicle — driving themselves in their own car.
- Rental Car — picking up a rental at the airport (or bus/train station, etc.) and driving in.
You'll also enter the expected arrival time at the resort, in the destination's local time — not your home timezone.
What's the Transfer Out step for?
The mirror of Transfer In: how the guest is getting from the resort back to the airport (or wherever they're heading next). Same five transport-type options.
What if I haven't figured out the guest's transfer yet?
Check the "I haven't arranged this yet" box. That parks the step intentionally — the Getaways team can see you're aware of it and you can come back via the reservation page once you've got it sorted.
Do I need to enter the expected arrival time in destination time?
Yes — destination local time, not your home timezone. If your flight lands in Lisbon at 8:00 AM Lisbon time, enter 8:00 AM. The resort uses these times to coordinate check-in.
That covers all 7 sections of the guest-info dialogue. The next article covers something every Buyer needs to know about timing: the 30-day lock.
